Learn about our mission, vision, and values

Our Mission

To promote and advance alternative medicine education through innovative teaching methods, research, and community engagement. We strive to create holistic healthcare practitioners who can serve society with compassion and expertise.

Our Vision

To be a globally recognized center of excellence in alternative medicine education, research, and practice, fostering a new generation of healthcare professionals who integrate traditional wisdom with modern scientific approaches.

About Alternative Medicine

The study of natural medical procedures that use ancient methods to heal the body is known as alternative medicine. It focuses on tools and practices that fall outside the scope of standard clinical treatment, including dietary supplements, vitamins, herbal remedies, massage therapy, magnet therapy, and spiritual healing.

Some of the most popular systems in India include Homoeopathy, Unani, Ayurveda, and Naturopathy. These practices are gaining wide acceptance among young aspirants due to their effectiveness and scientific applicability. Alternative medicine treatments may also involve folk and traditional medicine, Chinese medicine, acupuncture, nutritional therapies, yoga, meditation, chiropractic practices, and therapeutic touch techniques like massage and reflexology.

While allopathic medicine has achieved remarkable progress through antibiotics, vaccines, and organ transplants, there are still conditions where progress has been slower. This has led to growing interest in complementary and alternative therapies that provide holistic care and promote wellness.

In recent years, alternative medicine has expanded tremendously in India, driven by extensive research and experimentation in Homeopathy, Naturopathy, and Ayurveda. This growth highlights the importance of integrating these systems with modern healthcare, ensuring academic freedom for researchers, and enabling patients to benefit from a broad spectrum of healing practices.

Professionals in alternative medicine today have multiple career opportunities. Many establish private practice clinics, contributing to healthcare delivery and promoting holistic wellness. Others pursue research, teaching, or institutional roles, making alternative medicine a vital and evolving part of India’s healthcare system.
